HL pumps are horizontally axially split casing, single-stage or two-stage pumps. HL pumps are either double suction or single suction pumps with a horizontal shaft and detachable stuffing box. The impeller is accurately balanced by a double or single suction.

Kirloskar vertical inline pumps are vertical single-stage in-line centrifugal pumps of the close-coupled type. These are designed for circulation of liquids in heating and air-conditioning systems. Top pull-out facility permits removal of stuffing box, and impeller without disturbance to casing or suction/discharge pipework. It includes a drain at the bottom. The dynamically balanced impeller minimises vibration and increases bearing life.
